Anton has more than 16 years’ standing as a lawyer with extensive experience in the energy, banking, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions. His experience includes private practice in a major law firm and leading the Legal Department of a French oil supermajor in Indonesia after several years of assignment in its Gas and Power division in Paris.
He has a strong expertise in advising on development of domestic and international upstream oil and gas projects from grant of production sharing contract (PSC) through to oil and gas offtake, involving among others, the establishment of joint ventures, financing, construction and use of related facilities and the sale and purchase of natural gas, LPG and LNG. Some of his prominent works include representing a multi-national oil and gas company in the development of the Yamal LNG project in Russia and Shah Deniz Phase 2 project in Azerbaijan and in managing the PSC termination and transfer of operatorship process of one of Indonesia’s largest gas-producing block.
Anton also has a wealth of banking and finance experience by advising many of the world's major financial institutions and creditors on acquisition finance, syndicated loan agreements, debt restructuring, structured financings, bond issuance transactions and debt capital market financings.
Anton holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Indonesia (2002), a Bachelor of Economy (Accounting) degree from the Kwik Kian Gie Business School (2003), an Accountant degree from the University of Indonesia (2006) and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Prasetya Mulya Business School (2011).
He speaks Bahasa Indonesia, English, and French.
