Mr Mrityunjay Kumar joins Budidjaja International Lawyer as Special Counsel bringing his ample experience in handling matter related to Dispute Resolution, specifically in the Energy sector.
Mr Kumar was previously working for the Asian International Arbitration Center (AIAC). During his period in the AIAC, Mr Kumar was mainly exposed to international arbitration practices and construction adjudication.
Mr Kumar has recently acquired a Masters degree in Energy and Resources Law from the University of Melbourne, Australia. During his time in Australia, Mr Kumar focuses his studies on resources joint ventures, Major Project Delivery – Legal Interfaces (US, EU, Canada and Australia), International Commercial Arbitration, International Petroleum Transactions (FCPA, Trade sanctions - US, EU, and Australia), Merger Regulation Under Competition Law (focused on anti-competition and anti-corruption risks associated with mergers and acquisitions - US and Australia), Environment Law, International Mining Law, and International Economic Law.
